About The Position
JRS Pharma LP is seeking an experienced night shift Dex Production Operator to join our growing U.S. Cedar Rapids, IA team as a key contributor to our manufacturing operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safe, efficient and precise production of materials that support our manufacturing excellence. The production operator is responsible for executing production processes, maintaining quality standards and collaborating closely with teams across production, quality, logistics and planning. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous production experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office / control system experience
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment necessary to properly process and package finished product
- Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items
- Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairs
- Perform all required "in process" tests and adjustments
- Maintain accurate and complete records and charts
- Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records for completeness and accuracy
- Make sure all paperwork and forms are available and completed for their shift
- Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards
- Effectively communicate with all other team members
- Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects
- Execute other responsibilities and projects as required
- Train new operators
- Fill in for overtime requirements including vacation, sick leave, training and others as needed
