This role operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures. The operator works within a defined area making support materials to contribute to the final products manufactured. This role also involves making boxes, applying labels, and moving skids of materials with material handling equipment. Regular cleaning of flooring, tanks, and equipment is required. The position requires interaction with other departments to share information for successful process flow and adherence to strict work instruction details to comply with customer requirements. Compliance with all safety procedures and training requirements, including monthly completion of Dupont training modules, cybersecurity modules, and any other company-mandated training, is essential. The operator must report any potential unsafe area or act to leadership immediately and communicate required information in all phases of production processes, including interactions with shipping and receiving, quality control, maintenance, leadership, and human resources, through both verbal and written communications. Operation of material handling equipment, including hoists and sit down and stand-up forklifts, is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED/equivalent
Maintain certification in operation on all 3 types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic skills in MS Office software; basic math skills
Must be able to lift 55lbs repeatedly
Must be able to meet all requirements as called out below for basic skills for language skills, reasoningskills, mathematical skills, and physical skills

Responsibilities

Operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Operates within a defined area making support materials to contribute to the final products manufactured.
Makes boxes, applies labels, moves skids of materials with material handling equipment.
Cleans flooring, tanks, and equipment regularly.
Interacts with other departments to share information for successful process flow.
Adheres to strict work instruction details to comply with customer requirements.
Complies with all safety procedures and safety training requirements.
Includes monthly completion of Dupont training modules.
Completion of cyber security modules, and any other company mandated training requirements.
Reports immediately any potential unsafe area or act to leadership.
