About The Position

Buffalo Tungsten, acquired by Sandvik in 2023, is a leading independent manufacturer and global supplier of high purity tungsten powder. They specialize in producing powdered tungsten materials through a hydrogen reduction process, meeting high standards of purity and consistency. The company also produces tungsten carbide powder and tungsten carbide based thermal spray powders. Requirements

• Be able to stand or walk most of the day
• Regularly lift and handle up to 20 pounds throughout your shift
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds periodically over short distances
• Can follow procedures and maintain accurate records
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Operate production furnaces
• Work in the spray room
• Conduct activities related to the manufacturing process
• Operate machinery
• Keep accurate records
• Operate a forklift
• Complete work orders
• Pack materials for shipment
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager
