About The Position

Buffalo Tungsten, a leading independent manufacturer and global supplier of high purity tungsten powder since 1987, is seeking a Production Operator to support its powder production business. The company, acquired by the Sandvik group in 2023, emphasizes quality assurance, competitive pricing, and short lead times. The Production Operator will be responsible for operating production furnaces, working in the spray room, and performing various manufacturing activities. This role is based at the Buffalo (Depew), New York site.

Requirements

• Be able to stand or walk most of the day
• Regularly lift and handle up to 20 pounds throughout your shift
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds periodically over short distances
• Can follow procedures and maintain accurate records
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields is beneficial

• Operate production furnaces
