Requirements
- Ability to read shop floor papers and operate machinery.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift materials (up to 50 lbs.)
- Attention to detail
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate, work well with a team, and report issues to supervision.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and shut down manufacturing machinery, including extruders or computer-controlled tools.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and keep the work area clean.
- Monitor production processes to optimize performance, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Record data regarding materials used and products produced, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and health regulations to prevent hazards.
