About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is looking for a Production Operator in Statesboro, GA! This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of their work, operating equipment safely, and adhering to all safety and plant rules. The Production Operator will work with their team to maximize efficiency, reduce scrap and downtime, and support departmental goals. This position offers a pay rate of $18.00/hour with a Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm shift. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have dependable transportation.
Must submit to and pass any required testing.
Have within the normal range of hearing and eyesight.
Be able to work in harmony with others.
Must be able to read and comprehend policies and procedures / rules and regulations written or spoken in English.
Must adhere to all safety requirements of Sizemore and any applicable job assignment.
Must possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Experience in manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment.
Positive attitude and work ethic.

Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy of their own work and monitor the quality of the previous operation.
Perform work according to work instructions and maintain UPH (Units Per Hour) as required.
Operate equipment safely and perform all functions in the work center.
Troubleshoot problems and advise Team Leader/Supervisor as required.
Maintain any documentation required.
Responsible for workplace safety and adhere to all plant safety rules.
Maintain clean and orderly work centers at all times and ensure concerns are brought to the attention of appropriate personnel.
Work with others on the Team to maximize efficiency and reduce scrap/downtime within the work center.
Participate in training, shift and other department meetings, and attend any other required training or meeting.
Support departmental goals of safety, quality and cost reduction.
Follow all prescribed work standards as written.
Support and participate in EHS objectives.
