Production Operator
About The Position
Avery Dennison is looking for a dependable Production Operator to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the facility's success by operating production equipment, managing quality control inspections, and collaborating across departments to keep operations running safely and efficiently. The company is growing and preparing to move operations into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Perris, CA. Candidates must be willing and able to commute to/work out of the new Perris location once the move is finalized. Opportunities are available to start sooner at the current location in Rancho Cucamonga, where candidates can jumpstart onboarding and training immediately.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of a shift and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license.
- Flexibility to work overtime as requested.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct material inspections, verify product specifications, and maintain detailed quality logs.
- Participate in root-cause analysis to address quality issues and suggest process enhancements.
- Partner with team members to ensure safety protocols and 5S cleanliness standards are met.
- Actively learn multiple technical functions and fill operational gaps as production priorities shift.
