Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent required
A strong commitment to working safely and to the safety of others.
Ability to perform high quality, cost effective work in order to meet customer expectations.
Ability to efficiently and effectively monitor plant equipment and make adjustments to processes and controls; ability to handle upsets, startups, and shutdowns of plant systems and processes.
Ability to work under minimal supervision in a self-directed team environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
Flexibility in approach to tasks and openness to change.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receives, unloads and forwards products, supplies, raw materials and packaging materials according to supervisor’s direction.
Organize and prepare product for shipping/receiving.
Pack, load and/or unloads product shipping/receiving.
Interpret orders and coordinate production needs for clean-room and warehouse operators.
Set up production machines to order.
Perform/collaborate on in-process troubleshooting.
Measure, sample and visually inspect product, as required.
Monitors raw material inventories.
Follows and reviews all safety rules, procedures, and practices for safety of other operators, maintenance personnel, and contractors.
Completes required inspections of safety systems.
Attends required training sessions.
Performs other work assigned by supervisor.
