About The Position

This position is with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit, which focuses on empowering people to transform industries and provide customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The role involves learning new skills, advancing in career, and making an impact. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently assembling raw materials and processing products according to high-quality standards using automatic/manual machines, hand tools, and equipment. This position is responsible for creating batches following a recipe on batch tickets, tracking raw material inventory while maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be trainable to safely operate production equipment, including high lift truck.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Hard working and self-motivated.
  • Detail-oriented; proficiency for accuracy; dependable; positive attitude; team player.
  • Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently assemble raw materials and process products according to high-quality standards using automatic/manual machines, hand tools, and equipment.
  • Create batches following a recipe on batch tickets.
  • Track raw material inventory.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Operate production equipment.
  • Manipulate drums weighing up to 600 pounds with proper mechanical assists.
  • Maintain daily records for work performed.
