Requirements

  • 6-12 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement and volume.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

  • Running the filtration equipment in an efficient and productive manner
  • Working/learning the procedures to work the intake bay
  • Retrieve samples from the trucks delivering product to the intake bays
  • Unload and perform CIP on all tanker trucks to meet WDA standards
  • Performs pH, temperature, and peroxide tests on incoming whey loads and records results
  • Properly document/record all tanker truck CIP washes
  • Monitor CIP concentrations and maintain wash tanks on truck CIP systems
  • Complete receiving and discharge line set-up and CIP as needed
  • Perform load out activities
  • Retrieve finished product samples and perform % total solids, pH and temperature tests as required per customer specifications
  • Complete all paperwork associated with finished product loads
  • Complete and properly document daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly PM requirements as assigned
  • Follow standard operating procedures and instructions as directed by the Plant Manager
  • Promote safety by participating in inspections, audits, and regular training with the ability to apply safe work practices in every task performed
