Production Operator

Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
- Ability to learn to operate large pieces of Powder manufacturing equipment (extruders and grinders)
- Ability to work independent without close supervision
- Attention to detail and work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) when required. Includes gloves, steel toed boots, safety goggles, safety hat, and respirator
- Ability to work any job, and work overtime as needed
Nice To Haves
- Prior powder coating experience is preferred but will consider candidates with 3-5 years prior manufacturing or light industrial production experience
- Tow motor/forklift experience preferred or ability to obtain a license
Responsibilities
- Blending (premixing) batches
- Running extruders
- Filling product into shipping containers
- Sampling
- 5S cleaning
- Measuring and producing raw materials to manufacture industrial coatings
- Assemble and disassemble production equipment for cleaning between products while following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Weigh-up materials for production batches
- Follow preassembly weigh-up sheet instructions
- Prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers
- Work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place
