About The Position

The Production Operator is a front-line member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, carrying out production processes that add value and quality to inputs and create high-quality final products. The role involves learning to turn raw materials into finished products for customers, including operating machinery and equipment and packaging products. It is part of the Omnium business, which manufactures crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful manner.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety processes and insist on safe practices from oneself and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow quality standards and standard operating procedures throughout production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with and follow instructions from Leads and Management to complete daily assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
