About The Position

ENTEK is seeking applications for Production Operators to join their team on-site at their Lebanon, Oregon, location. The production facilities operate 24/7, so ideal candidates will be willing to work any shift, including nights and weekends. Production Operators perform tasks to support the needs of the Production Department, including operating, monitoring, and maintaining the production equipment to ensure the highest quality and productivity at all times. This role encompasses operating various equipment such as extruders, winders, and pelletizers.

Requirements

Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents
Basic mechanical skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to then develop reasonable solutions
Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance at scheduled work shifts
Ability to communicate effectively in English, including following verbal and written directions

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain mixers, extruders, and extractors for their assigned production cell to ensure the highest quality and productivity at all times
Operate, monitor, and maintain the oven exit, fife guides, slitter system, defect detection system, and the winder mandrels
Responsible for the proper packaging of the final product and transporting the product to the packaging line
Operating, monitoring, and efficiently pelletizing recyclable material made available for reuse as raw material replacement in ENTEK mix formulas
Conduct physical testing of product, in process, and finished goods
Ensure the workplace is clean and orderly
Accurately complete databases and production logs
Make adjustments to maintain process efficiency as needed
Monitor and operate a continual production line to ensure achievement of performance, quality, and safety objectives
