About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency (“RF”) components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards (“PCB”s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market. The Plasma Operator is responsible for operating equipment containing an electrical mixture of gas that removes resin from printed circuit boards (PCBs). Operators will work around and handle hazardous chemicals and training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shift
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures
  • Basic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
  • Must possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Follow all safety measures
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

  • Previous PCB experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Run press set-up, operation, shutdown, and emergency shutdown
  • Load/lift panels into machine
  • Verify correct cycles and temperature controls based on work instructions
  • Complete daily cleaning, preventative maintenance, and temperature log sheets to ensure completion and compliance
  • Operate pin router to extract sections of the PCBs for quality control checks
  • Follow all departmental process procedures correctly
  • Complete all departmental documentation accurately
  • Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production
