Job Summary
The Mill Operator is an hourly position and is responsible for safely operating the process equipment per standard operating procedures (SOPs),specified feed formulation and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.
• Follow the production schedule in accordance with feed formulation and quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems.
• Proficient use of computer – in addition to process controls and inventory software.
• Cleaning of processing equipment.
• Ensure ingredients and reprocessed products are blended correctly.
• Maintain inventory for in process ingredients.
• Accurate reporting with necessary paperwork.
• Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed. housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.
• Participate in shift exchange review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance.
• Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues in the Batch Operator position.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Akralos Management.
• Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues in the Process Operator positions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.
• At times, overtime will be required.
