About The Position

As a Production Operator, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
Ability to learn to operate large pieces of Powder manufacturing equipment (extruders and grinders)
Ability to work independent without close supervision
Attention to detail and work in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) when required. Includes gloves, steel toed boots, safety goggles, safety hat, and respirator
Ability to work any job, and work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

Prior powder coating experience is preferred but will consider candidates with 3-5 years prior manufacturing or light industrial production experience
Tow motor/forklift experience preferred or ability to obtain a license

Responsibilities

Blending (premixing) batches
Running extruders
Filling product into shipping containers
Sampling
5S cleaning
Measuring and producing raw materials to manufacture industrial coatings
Assemble and disassemble production equipment for cleaning between products while following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
Preassembly procedures include weigh-up materials for production batches
Follow preassembly weigh-up sheet instructions
Prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers
