About The Position

The Production Associate position at PPG involves blending, measuring, and producing raw materials for industrial coatings. Key tasks include moving, packing, and sorting materials, monitoring output quality, loading and unloading parts, masking and unmasking, performing touch-ups and rework, processing rejects, inspecting parts, and operating a hoist. The role also requires preparing materials and products for packaging and shipment. This work is performed in a production environment with strict safety procedures. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
• Ability to work any job and work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Blending, measuring, and producing raw materials to manufacture industrial coatings
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Load & Unload racks of parts
• Mask and unmask parts
• Touchup/rework
• Process rejects
• Inspect parts coming down lines
• Operates a hoist where necessary
• Prepare materials and products for packaging and shipment to customers
