Production Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position
Quanex is looking for a Production Operator– 2nd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH. The primary function is to produce quality products with minimum scrap. This role offers growth potential and a team-oriented environment. The hourly rate is $18/hr. + $1/hr. shift differential for the 2nd Shift, which runs Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, with overtime potential.
Requirements
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Willing to work overtime including weekends
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis

Responsibilities
- Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely
- Produce and use Material Identification labels
- Identify quality material prior to packaging
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
- Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S Standards
- Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers
