About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for identifying the correct account’s linen and ensuring items are not mixed, dirty, or damaged before feeding them into machinery or hand-folding them. The role requires maintaining the company’s expected production pace while following safety procedures. Operators also help ensure machinery is working properly by communicating issues to their leaders.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry.
• Ability to understand and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals and objectives.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Good oral and written communication in English.
• Good attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Feed sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, and mats into machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure linen being processed belongs to the assigned account.
• Identify damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and place it in the correct containers.
• Maintain an average production rate of 85% or above, as measured by the Spindle IT system.
• Remain logged into the Spindle IT system while working on the machine.
• Communicate machinery issues to leaders.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
