About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for inserting appropriate frames, wires, velcro, foam blocks, cloths, etc., into molds just prior to pouring foam. This role may perform other jobs as required, and is responsible for production department housekeeping and covering for absenteeism. The position operates within a production environment and may involve occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, with a typically moderate noise level.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of skills to carry out the insert tasks.
Knowledge of / and compliance with Safety Regulations.
Dependable with a good attendance record.
Ability to work overtime.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with team members.
Self starter, with demonstrated continuous improvement traits; effective at working independently.
Perform tasks through to completion.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
Regularly required to use hand to fingers, handle of feel objects, tools, or controls.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to bend, walk, balance, talk and hear.
Must occasionally lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
