About The Position

ADM is seeking a Production Operator for their Spray Dry operations on the 3rd shift in Erlanger, KY. This role is responsible for ensuring all ingredients are present and in the correct quantities, making in-process adjustments based on analytical data, compounding liquid batches, and operating ancillary equipment within the manufacturing environment. The operator will also be responsible for setting up and breaking down equipment, performing SAP, CMS, and MWS transactions, and accurately documenting all work to ensure lot traceability and HACCP checks. The position requires adherence to GMP, OSHA, food safety, and internal safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills

  • Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed

  • Able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout an 8 hour shift
  • Wear a respirator
  • Able to stand, walk, lift, reach and bend throughout an 8 hour shift

Nice To Haves

  • Previous spray dry experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all ingredients are present and in the correct quantities
  • Make in-process adjustments based on analytical data (Temp., moisture, flow, etc..)
  • Compound liquid batches needed to spray dry
  • Responsible for ancillary equipment within a manufacturing environment (sieves, batching systems, etc.)
  • Set up and break down the equipment and make necessary adjustments
  • Use SAP, CMS, and MWS transactions needed for blending
  • Accurately document all work to ensure lot traceability, HACCP checks, etc.
  • Work in compliance with all GMP, OSHA, food safety and internal safety guidelines
