About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for performing a variety of manual, semi-automated or automated tasks necessary for the manufacturing of sub-assemblies and/or final product. The Production Operator is responsible for maintaining productivity, quality, on-time delivery and safety of self and co-workers. This position operates under minimal guidance from management or senior staff. The Production Operator ensures ProMed’s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Fine motor skills in hands/wrist and good hand/eye coordination
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other similar computer software
  • Good vision (with or without corrective lenses)
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet deadlines and priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a microscope/reticle
  • Experience in thermoplastic or silicone molding and inspection
  • Clean room component or device level manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 (current) Standards

Responsibilities

  • Follows manufacturing procedures, including documentation of product traceability
  • Operates the required manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner using designated tools
  • Meets established production standards
  • Completes assembly-related tasks like gluing, heat-shrinking, and resistance welding
  • Supports research and development projects, as needed
  • Performs press setups, as required
  • Completes required documentation in accordance with established procedures
  • Reads, comprehends and performs duties as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • Follows all start up and shut down procedures
  • May provide temporary support to other production teams as business needs demand
  • Meets expectations of regular, reliable attendance
  • Other Duties as Needed: Any other duties and tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate
