About The Position
The Production Operator is responsible for performing a variety of manual, semi-automated or automated tasks necessary for the manufacturing of sub-assemblies and/or final product. The Production Operator is responsible for maintaining productivity, quality, on-time delivery and safety of self and co-workers. This position operates under minimal guidance from management or senior staff. The Production Operator ensures ProMed’s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Fine motor skills in hands/wrist and good hand/eye coordination
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other similar computer software
- Good vision (with or without corrective lenses)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines and priorities
Nice To Haves
- Experience using a microscope/reticle
- Experience in thermoplastic or silicone molding and inspection
- Clean room component or device level manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 (current) Standards
Responsibilities
- Follows manufacturing procedures, including documentation of product traceability
- Operates the required manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner using designated tools
- Meets established production standards
- Completes assembly-related tasks like gluing, heat-shrinking, and resistance welding
- Supports research and development projects, as needed
- Performs press setups, as required
- Completes required documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Reads, comprehends and performs duties as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Follows all start up and shut down procedures
- May provide temporary support to other production teams as business needs demand
- Meets expectations of regular, reliable attendance
- Other Duties as Needed: Any other duties and tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate
