About The Position

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with an automotive manufacturer seeking a Production Operator for the Paint Department. This is a full-time position available on either the 1st or 2nd shift, with a salary range of $130k-$155k. The role is located in Greencastle, IN.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial paint environment
• Knowledge of paint application methods, equipment setup, and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to lead, train, and support team members in a production setting
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily paint line operations, including prep, application, curing, and material flow
• Train associates on paint processes, equipment use (spray systems, booths, ovens), and safety procedures
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot paint equipment to ensure proper coverage, adhesion, and finish quality
• Oversee quality checks, defect identification (runs, sags, coverage issues), scrap tracking, and rework, escalating issues as needed
