About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. This position is in the Moulding & Trimming Department. The Production Operator operates manual and semi-automatic compression moulding/trimming machines in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce moulded sheets of varied products from preform rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards. Preforms Pre-control on rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards. The shift for this position is 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read and write English in order to understand operating and other related procedures and to complete all position related documentation.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.
Performs basic computer skills

Ensures that equipment are maintained in good and safe working condition and work area is clean, safe and organized.
Monitors equipment performance and recommends improvements.
Duly follows organizational and work specific instructions, attends applicable trainings and meetings.
