About The Position

Operates production line equipment to produce quality products in a safe manner. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery, including equipment such as mixers, wrappers, and conveyor systems. Operators must adhere to good manufacturing and safety practices, including complying with OSHA requirements and attending scheduled training.

Requirements

• Basic literacy skills including ability to read and comprehend instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving items weighing up to 65 pounds.
• Physically able to bend, reach, stoop, push and pull as required in a production operation.
• Able to climb ladders, crawl under equipment and work in tight spaces.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Physically capable of normal range of motion in all extremities.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Work variable hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Report to, begin and depart from work at scheduled times.
• Practice of company standards for food safety, legality, quality and customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in production / manufacturing environment a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
