About The Position

The purpose of this position is to operate the Injection Machine line efficiently and accurately, ensuring manufactured products are inspected and packaged according to customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to understand spoken and written English
  • Ability to work overtime and needed
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, walk for 8 plus hours daily
  • Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
  • Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
  • Ability to lift 50 plus pounds repeatedly
  • Safety glasses at all times
  • Safety gloves
  • Non-slip work shoes
  • Ear plugs as necessary

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year previous plant experience preferred
  • Previous knowledge of injection molding preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts for defects (i.e. shorts, flash, etc.)
  • Package product per custom requirements and packing specifications
  • Operate injection machine to produce products
  • Ensure production goals are met
  • Carefully follow all work instructions
  • Complete daily production and quality reports
  • Accurately label all completed parts
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Follow all Orotex policies and safety rules, other duties as assigned or required
