About The Position

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials — including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Production Operator IV – Admixtures to join our operations team at a local admixture manufacturing facility. This is a senior-level, hands-on production role where the primary focus is actively manufacturing product, while also supporting equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic mechanical preventative maintenance. This position is well-suited for an experienced mechanical production operator who is comfortable performing advanced production duties in a complex manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years manufacturing/process experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility for overtime and shift hours required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with light equipment maintenance and troubleshooting equipment, strongly preferred.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced hands-on production activities including pre-weighing, batch making, blending, and material transfers
  • Follow production schedules and work instructions to ensure accurate batching and consistent product quality
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain proper mixing, flow, and batch integrity
  • Prepare, label, and deliver quality control samples in accordance with SOPs
  • Accurately complete production, batch, and quality records
  • Palletize, stage, and prepare finished goods for shipping
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Inspect equipment before, during, and after operation to identify potential issues
  • Perform basic mechanical preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., lubrication, adjustments, minor part replacements)
  • Assist with troubleshooting production equipment issues and support maintenance personnel as needed
  • Report equipment, quality, or safety concerns promptly to supervision
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability efforts within the plant
  • Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
