About The Position

The Production Operator II is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of processing and packaging equipment used in the manufacturing of liquid and dry blend products. The Production Operator II will be required to weigh, combine, and mix materials, monitoring and manipulating materials at various states of processing. This role ensures that production meets safety, quality and efficiency standards while adhering to GMP, HACCP, and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years’ experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read and write English (75% literacy)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• 1 + year experience operating forklifts

Responsibilities

• Operate blending, mixing, and packaging equipment.
• Performs pre- and post-operational setup and disassembly of equipment.
• Verify and weigh raw materials per work orders and blend sheets
• Mix ingredients according to specified procedures and take batch samples
• Package, label and palletize finished products accurately.
• Maintain documentation for quality, safety, and production records.
• Assists with washdowns, sanitization, and equipment cleaning.
• Supports audits and follows HACCP procedures.
• Maintain a clean and work area.
• Cross train on various equipment, processes, and production departments
• Other duties as assigned.
