About The Position

Under general supervision, this position will follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements, ensuring personal safety, safety of others, and safety of the surrounding area. The role actively participates in the installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of production facilities. A key responsibility is to minimize well downtime by thoroughly understanding the cause and making regular repairs on production equipment. This position involves troubleshooting increasingly complex, non-routine issues and problem wells, discussing improvements, and implementing approved solutions safely. The operator will identify opportunities and communicate ideas to optimize field production and costs, ensuring new wells are ready for production, and that daily activities, site conditions, and regulatory requirements are followed according to Company policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of production related experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of surface and/or subsurface equipment and operations.
  • Basic knowledge of downhole operations, failure analysis, and best practices.
  • Ability to identify problems and failures to perform troubleshooting skills and provide a solution.
  • Understand the safe operation of electrical systems, valves, and high-pressure and temperature systems on facilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to ask questions, observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources.
  • Ability to work professionally and respectfully with Land Owners, Operators, teams, and others.
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
  • Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
