About The Position

This position supports our 2nd Shift, with a 10% pay premium. The work schedule is a 4/10 work week, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays off. Training will be conducted on the 1st Shift (5 AM - 3:30 PM, 4/10 work week, Monday-Thursday). Upon completion of training, the role transitions to the 2nd Shift. Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of the role requiring all work to be performed onsite, this position is full-time and will be conducted 100% at a BAE Systems facility. Requirements

High School Diploma
1 year work experience or equivalent experience
Basic hand tools and torque tools
Word, excel, and other basic computer operations
Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed.
Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
Corrects malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed.
Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processor other control procedures.
