About The Position

The Production Operator II is responsible for being proficient in the independent set-up, start-up, continuous operation, and shutdown of the assigned area process or processes as detailed by Value Stream (VS). This position reports to the Value Stream Sr. Manager and is part of the Manufacturing/Operations department located in Pensacola, FL and will be an on-site role. Associates in this role are responsible for manufacturing products according to established safety and quality procedures and work instructions, and for achieving safety, quality, and delivery objectives provided by the leadership team. They must also complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including routing information, batch control records, scrap/quality issues, and score cards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge and usage of basic math.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (ruler, calipers, etc.).
  • 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years' experience in a cleanroom environment.
  • 1+ years' experience with ERP Systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to continuously stand or walk as well as frequently climb stairs and ladders; squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn, pivot and reach; frequently use fingers or hands to grasp, clamp, move, finer, handle, and feel small objects.
