Production Operator I

About The Position
The Production Operator I performs tasks involved in packaging Tweddle Group owner’s literature kits in a team environment. The role requires collaboration and adherence to Tweddle Group values. The operator assembles and packages kits according to work orders, labels and packs finished products, tracks production, reports quality or mechanical issues, and follows safe and efficient work practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders and perform work as directed by the department supervisor.
- Assemble and package owner’s literature kits by placing the correct components in the correct sequence into the indicated work-order package.
- Attach the correct labels to kits, totes, boxes, and pallets.
- Pack finished kits into the correct boxes, totes, and/or pallets.
- Track production on schedule boards.
- Notify the supervisor of quality or mechanical issues.
- Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is safe, accurate, and efficient.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
