About The Position

The Production Operator I is responsible for safely operating food manufacturing equipment, ensuring formulas and weights are accurate, maintaining product quality, and completing required paperwork. The role also involves following food safety and safe-work procedures, meeting production requirements, and helping train team members to operate equipment properly.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write English at an eighth-grade level.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work a flexible or off-shift schedule.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work from heights.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated equipment within an assigned area.
• Meet daily production goals and requirements.
• Ensure product quality and make equipment adjustments as necessary.
• Verify weights and formulas are accurate.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Follow GMPs, CCPs, and QCPs at all times.
• Immediately report food safety or maintenance concerns to appropriate team leaders.
• Train and instruct team members on proper equipment operation.
• Adhere to all safe-work practices and rules.
