About The Position
The Production Operator I monitors production equipment and egg cartons to ensure proper alignment, operation, and product quality. The role includes documenting production and quality information, performing basic machine maintenance, and following workplace safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the conveyor to ensure egg cartons are properly aligned and oriented.
- Continuously monitor the press for malfunctions and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistent quality.
- Visually inspect cartons for compliance with quality standards, including dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain detailed production records, log key parameters, and document quality issues.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and escalate needed machine repairs.
- Follow safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and report potential hazards.
