About The Position
This position is for a Production Operator I specializing in Lamination. The role involves the complete management of the manufacturing process, from setup and operation to ongoing maintenance. The operator is expected to competently handle all associated support equipment. A key aspect of the role includes assisting in the training of new, entry-level employees. The operator will also be responsible for making necessary process adjustments to ensure efficient operation. Quality assurance is a critical component, requiring the performance of various quality tests and inspections to uphold established standards. Accurate recording of production data and reports is also required. Furthermore, the role demands adherence to plant safety guidelines, promoting a secure work environment, and strict compliance with SQF/HACCP requirements as outlined in the location's "Food Safety & Quality Policy".
Responsibilities
- Sets up, operates, and maintains the manufacturing process.
- Competently operates all support equipment.
- Assists in training of entry-level employees.
- Makes necessary process adjustments.
- Performs quality tests/inspections assuring quality standards.
- Properly records production data and reports.
- Follows and participates in plant safe housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment.
- Remains compliant with SQF / HACCP requirements as per this location’s written “Food Safety & Quality Policy”
