About The Position

This full-time, project-based position operates blade grinding equipment to produce high-quality razor blades. The role is not expected to continue beyond December 2027 due to a planned plant relocation. Edgewell offers a competitive work culture with pay, benefits, and vacation. The schedule involves working 15 days per month with every other weekend off, resulting in a three-day weekend. Requirements

Must be able to correctly read and interpret instruments and gages.
Must be able to correctly calculate basic mathematics equations (addition, subtraction, division, percentages).
2 years prior manufacturing experience (e.g., CNC Operator, Press Operator, Machine Operator, Molding Technician, or Maintenance background and/or related technical certification).
Good Interpersonal Skills.
Strong Communications Skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent mechanical skills, both verbal and written.
High speed machine/equipment operation.
Demonstrates problem solving & trouble shooting skills.
Basic knowledge of blue print reading.
Demonstrates quality awareness & attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Maintain and operate blade grinding machines in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls.
Maintain specifications by observing quality standards and utilizing precision measurement equipment.
Resolve production problems to meet specifications and troubleshoot equipment; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Keep machines and work area clean.
Document actions by completing production and quality records.
