About The Position

This role involves operating production machinery, adhering to safety and quality procedures, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the plant. The operator will be responsible for various tasks including material handling, product transfer, documentation, and maintaining a clean work environment. The position requires a motivated individual who can follow instructions, work effectively in a team, and adapt to changing operational needs.

Requirements

  • Able to drive the forklift, jockey, and semi-trailer, all in-house only.
  • Prepared to begin work at the designated start time.
  • Knowledge of company, job, and safety procedures, training, and policies (ISO, On the Job Training, DOT, OSHA, EPA, SDS).
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to safely conduct operations.
  • Ability to identify and report safety hazards.
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to treat other employees with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to maintain a clean work area.
  • Willingness to ask questions for understanding.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and retain/act on learned knowledge.
  • Motivated to work.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to see computer screen information and perform accurate keyboarding.
  • Ability to keep equipment & tools neat and put back in their rightful place.
  • Ability to perform housekeeping while on the job.
  • Ability to receive approval for hose change, etc.
  • Ability to notify leadership of any mechanical or plant-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Drive forklift, jockey, and semi-trailer (in-house only).
  • Follow all company, job, and safety procedures, training, and policies (ISO, On the Job Training, DOT, OSHA, EPA, SDS).
  • Perform essential job functions safely.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Treat other employees with dignity and respect.
  • Maintain a clean, "tour-ready" work area.
  • Ask questions to develop a clear understanding of training.
  • Follow verbal instructions and retain/act on learned knowledge.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by leadership.
  • Attend meetings (Safety, Communications, Benefits, Educational, Team).
  • Transfer formulated products to drums, label, and complete required paperwork.
  • Understand the production schedule and processes.
  • Keep equipment and tools neat and in their rightful place.
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning while on the job.
  • Receive approval for hose changes and notify leadership of mechanical or plant-related issues.
