About The Position

Requirements

  • Has good reading vision, color discrimination, depth perception, and the ability to speak clearly.
  • Flexible, able to work and be cross trained in any position throughout the department as needed.
  • Works up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, and is flexible to work on weekends.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds and sit or stand for up to 10 hours a day.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic English and mathematical skills, reads and understands blueprints and procedures, and has general interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the supervisor for priorities and tasks.
  • Uses inspection tools, keeps records of quality data, and informs the supervisor of any discrepant materials.
  • Auto Optical Inspection of printed circuit boards at various stages of build-up, drilled and non-drilled inner/outer layers, artwork, Imaging resist, etched copper, and solder-plated surfaces before fusing.
  • Communicates regularly to supervisors and managers, maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates to supervisor’s safety hazards and issues.
  • Generates, accumulates, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.
  • Train new employees in machine operations, inspection techniques and acceptance parameters.
  • Cross train on operations within the area.
  • Monitors and produces product quality.
  • Provides the materials used in the production of the product.
  • Reporting of all accidents, near misses and safety concerns.
  • Perform their job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.
