About The Position

Nestlé’s Springville, Utah facility manufactures Stouffer’s frozen food and operates seven production lines six days per week, with two 10-hour shifts daily. The Production Operator 2 operates a Net Weigh Filler on Line 1 or Line 2, ensuring the machine is ready for production, runs properly throughout the shift, and is supplied with product. The operator also checks that production meets the Code 10 requirement, calculates yield, and reports unfavorable results to the Team Leader. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Basic proficiency in English to follow verbal and written directions, signs, policies, and procedures.
Ability to perform basic computer data entry.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
Ability to go up and down stairs frequently.
Work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestlé factory preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect the machine before the shift for proper assembly, safety-guard placement, cleanliness, foreign objects, worn or damaged parts, and loose bolts or nuts.
Set up the machine so product is ready at line start-up.
Operate the Net Weigh Filler throughout the shift and troubleshoot as needed.
Keep the machine adequately loaded with product throughout the shift.
Ensure the product being run is Code 10.
Calculate yield and notify the Team Leader of unfavorable reports.
Model the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
