About The Position

Airgas is hiring for a Production Operator - Cylinder Filler in Abilene, TX. This role involves making and/or repackaging and pumping compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders. The operator will conduct pre-fill and post-fill inspections and perform tests on cylinders before they are released for distribution. Responsibilities include filling cylinders to the proper capacity by following safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures, accurately maintaining cylinder filling records, and ensuring all required procedures are followed to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license.
Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documentation.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
