About The Position

Airgas is hiring for a Production Operator - Cylinder Filler in Abilene, TX. This role involves making and/or repackaging and pumping compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders. Responsibilities include conducting pre-fill and post-fill inspections, performing tests on cylinders before release, and filling cylinders to the proper capacity while adhering to safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures. Accurate record-keeping of cylinder filling and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations are essential.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license.
Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documentation.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
