About The Position

Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Our Owatonna, MN location specializes in agglomeration and/or coating of nutraceuticals and functional food ingredients. The site has approximately 50 employees and is involved in product formulations, ingredient processing, and particle coating solutions. We are hiring career-minded people to help meet growing demands for quality ingredients in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems.
Ability to complete certification requirements.
Reliable attendance is important for team operations.
Must be self-motivated and conscientious.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team.

Nice To Haves

1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred.
Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow formulas to ensure customers receive ideal dry blended ingredients.
Operate a variety of production and processing equipment to manufacture products efficiently and within specifications and quality standards.
Pull raw materials, measure, use lift trucks and/or cranes.
Monitor and document production results.
Ensure all government regulations, policies, and related processes are met or exceeded.
Communicate with the production team.
