We are looking for a Production/Operations Manager who is as comfortable leading people as they are directing a high-stakes live production. This role requires a technical wizard who loves the thrill of live television and has the leadership chops to guide a team while still being able to step into the booth and execute a flawless newscast. Requirements
- Technical expertise in a control room, with a deep understanding of live production and master control operations.
- Leadership skills to inspire a team, manage schedules, and step in whenever and wherever needed.
- A digital-first mindset, understanding that the audience is everywhere and ensuring content looks great on every platform.
- An unshakable work ethic; reliable, proactive, and ready to tackle the challenges of a 24/7 news cycle.
- Attention to detail regarding FCC logs, transmitter readings, or timing a live break.
- Flexibility to jump in on any shift to support the team, though generally working Monday-Friday.
- A collaborative spirit, valuing empathy and humor as much as technical skill, and committed to building a supportive, winning team.

- Experience with Ross Overdrive automation, Ross production video switcher, MCR/Harris automation, Platinum House routing system, VizRT graphics, Adobe Photoshop, ENPS, Edius editing software.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the production department, ensuring every newscast and station production meets high standards for quality and innovation.
- Perform the duties of a Technical Media Producer (TMP), directing live and pre-recorded productions with precision and a "digital-first" mindset.
- Monitor station on-air signals, transmitters, and FCC logs to ensure a trusted, reliable experience to the audience.
- Manage the ingestion of daily programming and commercials, keeping operations running smoothly.
- Run local commercial breaks for live sporting events and direct various elements for the web channel, ensuring a seamless multi-platform experience.
- Promote a collaborative, high-energy environment where everyone is motivated to do their best work.
