Requirements

• Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data visualizations
• Proficiency with Power Query, DAX, and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data preparation, workflow automation, and reporting
• Strong background in data validation, stewardship, and quality-control processes
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting, ideally in oil and gas operations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement abilities

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Power BI skills including data modeling
• Python-based automation and analytics development
• Experience with upstream production, well test, allocation, or subsurface datasets
• Knowledge of New Mexico regulatory reporting and NMOCD compliance
• Familiarity with Plug and Abandonment workflows, AFE generation, and Energy Components

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards delivering actionable insights to Operations and leadership teams
• Develop and automate business reporting and data validation workflows using Python and SQL
• Transform complex operational and subsurface datasets into scalable, user-friendly visualizations and decision-support tools
• Support the transition of enterprise data sources, dashboard migrations, and reporting enhancements
• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate manual work processes
• Maintain data quality and integrity across production, well test, allocation, and regulatory datasets
• Validate data sources, troubleshoot discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders
• Manage New Mexico regulatory reporting requirements, including IP testing, SWD reporting, and NMOCD compliance submissions
• Develop and maintain Plug and Abandonment (P&A) packages, supporting documentation, and workflow records
• Generate and track AFEs and wellbore documentation to support P&A execution and program management
