About The Position

Seda North America is seeking a Production Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a readiness to support their team. Seda North America is an air-conditioned, exceptionally clean facility that designs and produces innovative paper packaging solutions, including unique insulated coffee cups and food industry containers.

Requirements

• Prior experience in food packaging preferred; familiar with GMP guidelines
• Ability to efficiently prioritize production needs in a fast paced environment
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted and remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift

Nice To Haves

• technical degree or other certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in real time
• Install and modify machinery
• Communicate with and assist in training machine operators as needed
