About The Position

The Production Material Planner develops and maintains production and material plans in line with demand forecasts and inventory targets. The role works cross-functionally with procurement, supply chain, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability, production readiness, and alignment of material flows with production needs. It also supports continuous improvement in material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain roles; entry-level candidates may also be applicable.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle JD Edwards, or NetSuite.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and production scheduling.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production and material plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and production teams to ensure material availability and production readiness.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory analysis to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Generate short- and long-term production schedules aligned with capacity and resource availability.
Analyze production data, lead times, and material usage trends to optimize planning accuracy.
Maintain planning parameters, including lead times, safety stock, and reorder points, in ERP/MRP systems.
Proactively identify and escalate potential supply chain risks or constraints.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to align inbound and outbound material flows with production needs.
Prepare reports and dashboards to track KPIs such as OTIF (On-time In-Full), forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
