About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a qualified and experienced Raw Material & Production Planner to join the Production & Raw Material Planning team at its Ellwood City Plant. The role focuses on planning production orders and raw materials to help meet customer delivery schedules and maintain safety stock levels. The Planner works across functions to support schedule adherence, timely production, and inventory ownership while promoting teamwork, integrity, reliability, and trust.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, another relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in production planning and/or raw material planning.
Proficiency in ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong analytical, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
Proven track record of creatively solving difficult problems.

Nice To Haves

SAP experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
APICS Certification.
Experience in the chemical or a similar industry.

Responsibilities

Plan production orders and raw materials to support on-time customer delivery and maintain safety stock levels.
Participate in daily planning meetings and assign priorities to production planning tasks.
Review open order reports and ensure the production plan supports on-time customer delivery.
Update the production schedule based on vessels and production status, and coordinate with the Production team on Process Order status.
Work cross-functionally with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Maintenance to address issues and support schedule adherence.
Review and approve invoices for raw material orders.
Drive continuous improvement ideas across functions.
Take complete ownership of inventory levels in the assigned MRP.
