About The Position

Great Northern is a leading developer and manufacturer of creative solutions for packaging, shipping, merchandising and distributing products for industrial, commercial and retail markets. Great Northern – Chippewa Falls is seeking Forklift Operators to join our growing manufacturing team! Our Forklift Operators are responsible for loading product for customer pick-up and prepares Common Carrier, UPS, RPS, and Federal Express Deliveries for shipment. They operate an industrial forklift truck to assist in unloading and loading raw materials and product from trucks and trailers, while checking for proper material and count quality. They follow Great Northern's quality procedures for accuracy and quality, randomly checking a minimum of one order per day. They also change LP tanks safely, following written guidelines, or recharge electric forklifts as needed. Shrink-wrapping units as needed in preparation for shipping is also a responsibility. Regular and reliable attendance is expected, along with other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

Loading product for customer pick-up and prepares Common Carrier, UPS, RPS, and Federal Express Deliveries for shipment.
Operating industrial forklift truck to assist in unloading and loading raw materials and product from trucks and trailers, while checking for proper material and count quality.
Following Great Northern's quality procedures for accuracy and quality, randomly checking a minimum of one order per day.
Changing LP tanks safely, following written guidelines, or recharges electric forklift as needed.
Shrink-wrapping units as needed in preparation for shipping.
Regular and reliable attendance.
