About The Position

The Production Manufacturing Technician (PMT) will operate select manufacturing/processing equipment safely, meeting or exceeding quality requirements and standards in a timely manner at the lowest possible costs. This role involves working in highly controlled rooms from a process and safety standpoint, specifically in assigned clean line and clean room environments. The PMT will work with electro-polishing chemicals and equipment, high purity instruments, and highly sensitive testing devices as assigned, as well as assembly tools and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate select manufacturing/processing equipment safely.
  • Meet or exceed quality requirements/standards.
  • Work in highly controlled rooms, specifically clean line and clean room environments.
  • Work with electro-polishing chemicals and equipment, high purity instruments, and highly sensitive testing devices.
  • Work with assembly tools and packaging equipment.
  • Perform general labor including loading and unloading cleaning equipment, miscellaneous assembly, inspecting, alcohol wiping, swabbing, carrying plates, nitrogen dry parts, leak, function and flow testing, bagging, and packaging.
  • Operate microscopes, profilometers, lapping machine, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers, and leak, flow, and function testing equipment.
  • Operate ultra sonic wash, electro polish, and insert installation stations.
  • Monitor supplies and use the material replenishment reordering system.
  • Follow and perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Cross-train and assist other production areas as needed.
  • Work in clean room, clean line, or assembly areas as workflow dictates.
  • Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to manufacturing duties.
  • Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including coveralls, boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, and gloves.
