About The Position

We are a growing specialty manufacturing company seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily shop operations, scheduling, inventory control, and production workflow. This position plays a key role in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production management role
• Strong understanding of production scheduling and inventory control
• Experience supervising shop personnel
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• ERP system experience preferred
• Experience in regulated manufacturing (aerospace, industrial, ISO environment) a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute production scheduling and master production planning
• Release and track production orders
• Expedite customer orders as required
• Supervise and support shop personnel
• Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee purchasing of stock materials
• Track incoming freight and coordinate shipping logistics
• Prepare Certificates of Conformance and maintain quality records
• Perform contract review on incoming orders
• Enter completed order information and initiate invoice cycle
• Coordinate with sales regarding order status
• Oversee equipment maintenance scheduling
• Conduct employee reviews and manage overtime scheduling
• Receive RMAs and oversee inspection processes
